We want you to take your time on viewing your selected properties ensuring your chosen one is the right one for you. We will explain all legal aspects of purchasing a property in Spain, assist you with opening your Spanish bank accounts, accompany you to our local solicitors office, she will ensure the property has no encumbrances or charges, she will arrange for you to obtain your N.I.E number (this is an abbreviation for Numero de Identidad de Extranjero) in which translates to Identification number for non Spanish citizens, this is an all purpose identification and tax number and is required for everything that involves an official process in Spain. Your solicitor will arrange the transfer of all utility bills into your name and set up standing orders. We can also assist you with the transfers of your funds to Spain, we work alongside Currencies direct and can arrange an appointment for you to discuss your options with them. On the morning of the conveyance we will take you to the Notary to where the property will be transferred to you, we will translate the title deeds and ensure any alterations in which your chosen property may have undertaken are added to the new deed before the signing, a final search will be carried out to ensure the property is free of all charges, all witnessed in front of the notary and signed. Our aim is to ensure all runs smoothly and is an enjoyable experience ready for the new chapter in your life.
